For the first time ever, this year will allow school leavers and CAO applicants to explore Apprenticeship opportunities and access information on FET courses alongside Higher Education options via the 2022 CAO website.
A very exciting opportunity that will allow you to broaden the scope of your interests, FET and Apprenticeships cater to a larger range of learner aptitudes and open a lot of doors down the line, giving you exciting opportunities after you leave school that will broaden the scope of your interests. Apprenticeship also allows you to earn while learning valuable skills.
This change to the CAO is a step in the right direction for Senior Cycle students, as more options being available in one place is always a good thing. With courses available in every county across Ireland, FET can take you exactly where you want to go, whether that be onto Higher Education, right into the workplace or progression to an Apprenticeship.
