Four Students Arrested for Semi-Naked Harlem Shake

The Harlem Shake might just be a bit of fun for most but it got four students arrested this weekend.

But to be fair they weren’t just doing the Harlem Shake, they were doing it in their underwear in Cairo, Egypt, which has very strict public indecency laws.

There is a Cairo version of the dance craze.

According to the New York Daily News police spotted the group dancing half-naked in a middle-class neighbourhood.

And they weren’t the only ones offended by the moves as an angry crowd also tried to stop the students.

The group, who were then arrested, has been accused of committing a “scandalous act.”
