Are you looking to upskill but short on cash?

The great news for jobseekers and anyone who wants to upgrade their skills is that you can now choose from almost 200 FREE college courses with Springboard+. They have 6,471 free college places on offer nationwide. And people say there’s nothing free in this world.

Springboard+ is a government programme that’s designed to help jobseekers by offering them college courses in areas with potential job opportunities. However, the courses on offer aren’t ONLY for jobseekers.

They are also offering selected courses for people who are working – fantastic if you want to upskill but can’t afford to pay for a college course. It’s also the first time that homemakers have been able to qualify for these courses and Springboard+ are now offering even more options for working people and the self-employed.

Lots of the courses have flexible options making for a delightful schedule too. It’s a mix of on-campus and distance learning, which is ideal if you are a working person or a parent. And there is everything from Certificates, Degrees and Masters Courses on offer.

There’s a whole range of courses on offer too. Springboard+ have course options in sectors as diverse as IT, advanced manufacturing, entrepreneurship, financial services and hospitality.

Courses cover everything from a Masters in Hospitality, Food and Beverages, or Marketing, Languages and Communication. You could also opt for a Certificate in Culinary Skills or Marketing with Social Media Skills.

There really is a wide range of subjects to choose from and they’re taking applications now. So what are you waiting for?

The Springboard+ upskilling initiative in higher education offers free courses at certificate, degree and masters level leading to qualifications in areas where there are employment opportunities in the economy.
