Finally! The long awaited season four air date for Game of Thrones has been revealed.
The highly anticipated fourth season of HBO’s fantasy series will air on Saturday, April 6th at 9pm. The episodes will then be airing on Sky Atlantic, less than 24 hours after they're broadcast in the US.
HBO announced the date yesterday at the 2014 Winter TCA Press Tour in Pasadena.
A trailer for season four will debut this weekend, on Sunday, before the premiere of HBO’s new drama series True Detective.
“We have another royal wedding, this one is not red; this one is a different color,” author George R.R. Martin has told E! News of season four.
“We have the introduction of some great new characters. We finally introduce one of the most popular characters from the books: Prince Oberon Martell.
"The Red Viper of Dorne will be introduced for the first time and there will be some other new characters that I think the fans will like.”
