He might be flat out with the X Factor and getting ready for his solo tour but Gary Barlow still had plenty of time to shoot scenes for BBC sitcom Miranda.
It has been revealed that the Take That singer will make a cameo appearance as himself in an episode of the award-winning programme which is written by and stars Miranda Hart.
And it won't be the first time the two stars have joined forces. They were both involved in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations earlier this year.
Speaking about Gary's role, a BBC spokeswoman said: “Gary appears in one episode of the programme. They get friendly in an unexpected way.” Ooh, sounds ominous doesn’t it?

Miranda Hart writes and stars in the popular BBC comedy.
The episode has already been filmed and is apparently due to be aired at the beginning of next year.
According to The Sun newspaper, the crew were over-the-moon with his involvement: “The cast were thrilled he took part.”
