The Olympics are finally here! After what feels like a decade of waiting, we finally get to spend the summer cheering on Ireland as our best athletes take on the rest of the world.
We are absolutely buzzing for all the events to come here at Her.ie and we can't wait to see what's in store for Ireland in Rio.
This year's Olympics are pretty special for Team Ireland because this will be our second-largest team ever, made up of 77 athletes who will compete in 13 of the 28 sports.
It's going to be a massive summer of sport for the boys and girls in green (and all their supporters).
Team Ireland's official sponsor, Electric Ireland, have released a new video to encourage the whole Irish population to get behind the team and it is pretty inspiring stuff.
The video shows the grit and determination each athlete puts into reaching the games and we have to say we are in awe.
We can't all be Olympians, but we can all find the power within to achieve our goals.
Go on team Ireland we are behind you all the way.
Electric Ireland, proud sponsor of Team Ireland wants to inspire the Irish public with these powerful stories and encourage people to look within themselves to find out what drives them ultimately uncovering their own Power Within, whether it’s the strength to keep pushing through the third round or to find the courage to go for that job promotion, everyone can use The Power Within to realise their dreams.Show your support for Team Ireland by sharing #ThePowerWithin @electricireland
