Yesterday the Pending Coffee trend made us feel as fuzzy and warm inside as a hot cup of coffee.
And today that feeling has gotten even better as it seems the Suspended Coffee Movement, which is its official name, has arrived in Ireland.
The Suspended Coffee Movement has hit Ireland.
A number of coffee shops around the country are now jumping onboard the charitable cause which enables people to buy coffees for those in need.
The way it works is you go in and order your coffee but you also order and pay for a “suspended” one. Someone who is having a hard time can then go in and ask if there are any suspended coffees available.
The trend enables people to buy hot drinks for those less fortunate.
And it’s not just hot drinks as some cafes are apparently going that one step further with suspended soups.
So perhaps the next time you’re nipping out for your latte or cappuccino you might like to kill two birds with one stone by doing a good deed as well. For more information check out the Suspended Coffee Facebook page here.
