The strikingly-coloured beverage is made from a blend of red and white grapes, dyed blue with anthocyanin (found in the skin of grapes) and indigo.
"We wanted to create an innovative and daring product in tune with the changing world – the wine industry needs a little revolution," a spokesman told Olive Press.
The company website describes the colour blue as representing "movement, innovation, fluidity, change and infinity".
Its creators say the wine is best paired with sushi, nachos with guacamole, Tzatziki sauce, pasta carbonara and smoked salmon and should be served chilled. If you fancy an adventurous bottle this weekend, it will set you back €10 and probably turn your tongue blue...
