Because they’re worth it!

Thinking of bringing your momma on a date in the capital this weekend? Want to do something fun to mark Mother’s Day and remind her that she truly is the best? Then fear not, from cocktails to the flicks, we have you sorted with six things to do with mother dearest this weekend.

Rise up and wake up with a brekkie at Balfes.

No better way to kick start the morning than with some five star treatment. Choose from delicious porridge to eggs sunny side up, we think we will have to be rolled out of this place. Nom.

Stroll around Temple Bar’s vintage stores and grab a coffee in Dollard & Co.

Browse the cobbled streets and pick up a mid-shopping caffeine boost in Dollard & Co. The beautiful food market come restaurant, this is the perfect location to check out some local and international produce as well as delicious coffee! Yum!

Tuck in to lunch overlooking the city in Sophie’s at the Dean hotel.

Up, up, and away up to the top floor of the Dean hotel, this is where you will find the gem that is Sophie’s. A firm favourite for lunch, brunch, dinner and mouth-watering cocktails! You plus mama will love it.

Enjoy a 6pm pick-me-up tipple at the Vintage Cocktail Club.

You gotta book this one in advance as it is reservation only – but for the best cocktails in town, in a stunning, romantic location, you got to try the VCC.

Dinner is served in Las Tapas De Lola.

Enjoy an array of little dishes in Las Tapas De Lola, one of the greatest tapas bars in Dublin with a great wine menu too! You’ll leave here with a full belly and a smile from ear to ear.

Kick back and call it a night in the Stella Theatre.

Head to the flicks like it’s the 1920’s in Dublin’s iconic Stella Theatre. Put your feet up and rest thanks to their stunning loungers and get alcoholic drinks delivered right to your seat… the dream!

Bring on the weekend!
