Novelty blankets are all the rage these days, especially the nautical variety. We all know someone with a knitted mermaid blanket.

A granny in the states decided to get in on the blanket craze and made a homemade shark blanket as a gift for her grandson.
She slaved away for hours creating a beautiful knitted shark shaped blanket. It was all going well until the boy got into it.
Unfortunately for her, she didn’t think the design through and as soon as the grandson hopped into it for a photo it became quite inappropriate.
It’s all down to the positioning of the fin.
The photo has gone viral with people laughing at the situation.
