Jesse Berlin died in January 2012 and for the last two years his family have been locked out of his Facebook profile.
Having attempted many times to access the 21-year-old's account, all of which were unsuccessful, Jesse's father, John, issued this heartbreaking plea on camera.
Earlier in the week Facebook celebrated its 10th Birthday and several one-minute videos capturing a "look back" at user's history and profiles circulated.
John begged the social network to access his son's Facebook in order for his family to create a "Look Back" montage.

"Maybe somebody will see that counts," the grieving father tells the camera.
"I know it's a shot in the dark, but I don't care... I want to see my son's video."
The heartbreaking clip instantly went viral and just hours after uploading the plea online, the Berlin family were contacted by a Facebook representative.
John posted this message under the YouTube video thanking people for their overwhelming support:

In a Facebook post the father also wrote that Facebook are looking into helping out other grieving families.
