We all love a good date, but where you take your date is half the battle. We've had our fair share of bad dates around here so we decided to compile a list of the five place you should never take a date.
We're counting down from the not so terrible, to the absolute deal breakers of dating venues.
Deserted restaurant with no music - What were you thinking? If you're going all fancy make sure you do your research on the restaurant in question. There is nothing worse than being the only 2 people in an establishment, no craic and the pressure to talk constantly is TOO MUCH.
Local restaurant with EVERYONE you know - Flip reverse it, you've bumped into Imelda from down the lane, 3 former babysitting charges, and 2 of your exes before the mains have arrived. Don't do it.
Fast food place - This is just gross.
C.I.Y - Cook it yourself is incredible... be it steak or sushi we're all over it. The problem is that you really have to concentrate and we can't be dealing if someone is asking us about our hobbies when we're trying to cook us some steak. NOPE.
Salad bar - First there's the queuing, then the panic ordering when you make it to the top, the dressing element, the extras element, the awkward double payment moment, the finding of a seat together moment. By the time you sit down you feel like you're 6 months in and ready for some conscious uncoupling. Just get a salad by yourself and be done with it.
