Go for brunch, order from the menu and dive into the food once it arrives.
But with the rise of social media, it’s not shocking that you can occasionally be waiting to dig into your plate while a friend snaps their meal for a spot on Instagram.
Now a new study published in the Journal of Consumer Marketinghas found that pausing to take a moment to snap your food could actually make it taste better.
According to the study, diners who take a moment to snap a quick shot of their meal before eating prove it "increases attitudes and taste evaluations of the experience when consumption actually takes place."
