Four seasons in a matter of days.
The cold snowy spell, which hit Ireland last week, has lifted and hats, gloves, and scarves are no longer essential items for the morning commute (phew).
Here’s what today looks like.
Some mist, drizzle & patchy fog, but mostly dry. Some bright or short sunny breaks developing in places. Highs 9 to 11C in moderate breezes.

The forecast for rest of this week then is very unpredictable with drizzle, fog, winds and dare I even say it, SUN, expected over the coming days.
Most of the country will experience patchy rain and mist today, with some fog overnight.
Tomorrow sees more of the same but there’s also the possibility of some “sunny breaks in places”.
The dry weather looks set to continue for most of the week but it will turn cooler “from mid-week with night frosts”.
