No more uniforms and moving out of home are two of the very best things about college, according to Irish third-level students.
When asked who their ideal roommate would be, ginger crooner Ed Sheeran topped the poll at 32 per cent followed by reality TV star Kylie Jenner at 18 per cent.
It's not all fun and games though, as the students, surveyed by Bank of Ireland, listed the worst student dinners as a downside of being away from home, with noodles, cereal and beans all cited as some of the very worst options for a main evening meal.
When it comes to what they missed from home, family just edged out having their dinner made for them at 36 per cent and 35 per cent respectively.
The survey also found that that 64 per cent of students live on less than €100 each week, with 44 per cent supporting their student expenses with a part-time job and an additional 34 per cent receiving support from their parents.
All we're saying is that €100 a week in our day would have looked a little like this.
