From there on in, it's pretty grim - Saturday is set to be dull with rain in all areas and highest temperatures ranging from 7 to 9C in the North and 10 to 12C further south.
As the evening progresses, blustery showers will die out and be replaced with clearer weather and frost.
Sunday is worse again, with more persistent rain causing a risk of spot flooding across the central belt of the country.
Highest temperatures will range five to 13 degrees Celsius, with moderate to fresh westerly breezes, and on Monday morning - you'll be cracking out the de-icer again, as the week will start with frost and ice.
