Tonight we have dedicated our second Her Talks event to conversation around securing the introduction of safe and legal abortion for the women of Ireland.
We spoke about our dedication to see the 8th amendment repealed and how we can achieve that.
After research by our team, we presented the cost of procuring an abortion outside Ireland.
The below video covers basic top line costs, like last minute flights on a budget airline. It gives the approximate costs of the procedure for someone under 14 weeks and someone at a later stage.
As you’ll see, the costs quickly mount into the thousands and that’s without including aftercare or counselling.
