Publisher and broadcaster Norah Casey has resigned from her co-hosting duties on Newstalk’s breakfast show.
Casey has apparently stepped down to spend more time with her 13-year-old son Dara, according to the Herald.
"Dara is coming into his Junior Cert year and I want to support him and spend time with him before the study begins. Getting up at 4am can really drain your brain power, so I needed to cut back."

Norah will start a new weekend show with the station this Autumn.
The broadcaster said she felt she had to re-assess her priorities, especially after the death of her husband Richard Hannaford.
"This is the second summer since Richard died. Last summer was very difficult for both of us, so I wanted to take time for ourselves this summer."
Casey is expected to be replaced by Shane Coleman temporarily on the slot.
