Though it’s a tough task, given how many fantastic stories we’ve come across in the past seven days, each of us here at Her.ie have chosen one of our favourite picks from the week, gathered together in one handy collection. Enjoy! ___________________________________ Grace's Choice: Lord of the Romance Grace says: I have seen (and tried to participate in) my fair share of dancing wedding videos but this next clip shot at the Ramada Hotel in Belfast wins outright. Never have I seen so many gentlemen dancing together, never mind dancing so well. Fair play to the groom and all involved. Read the full story here.   Cathy's Choice: A Song for Triona Cathy says: I've always really liked Ed Sheeran, back before he hit the big time he played a small gig at the Róisín Dubh in Galway and it was serious. A small venue packed to the rafters but, even then it was obvious that Ed was a special talent. This week the friends and family of Triona Priestly contacted Ed via Twitter so he could sing to the terminally ill teenager. Triona was one of Ed's biggest fans and she passed shortly after Ed sang to her over the phone. This pretty much broke my heart. Read the full story here. Úna's Choice: Women Like Me Úna says: One story that really stood out for me this week was journalist June Shannon's honest and frank account of her unexplained infertility. Her story is probably one that affects so many women in Ireland so it was so great to be able to share her story with the Her.ie readers. Read the full story here. Sue's Choice: No Fan of Kim K Sue says: My favourite story of the week was the story about Kim Kardashian and her new friend, the elephant, who she tried to take a photo with. The elephant wasn't having any of it. Read the full story here. Rebecca's Choice: A Walk To Remember Rebecca says: Some may have found this video over-the-top and others probably thought it was a bit strange but I love the sentiment of this story. When I managed to watch it all the way through (I'm a cry baby), I just thought it was a really nice thing to do and it's a memory that that little girl can hold onto for the rest of her life. I think every daughter deserves to have their father walk them down the aisle, and every father deserves to walk their daughter down the aisle. This situation, even though it's fabricated, made that happen and for that reason I think it's a great thing. Read the full story here. Marie's Choice: Call On Me, Mam... Marie says: Our story this week about the length of time that women spend on the phone to their mothers really made me laugh as it's definitely the case for me! There's nothing like a good gossip with your mammy to put the world to rights and even though I probably rack up a few more months than the average, I reckon it's time well spent! Having spent two amazing summers and several lovely weeks in the city that never sleeps, I was delighted to get back recently for seven wonderful days in Manhattan. Liz' Choice: The Circle of Life in the Sky Liz says: There's few things I love more than musicals and Disney. Give me them both, 10,000 feet in the air and I'm in heaven.
