Liz’s Choice: Doug The Pug Owns Halloween

Liz says: I usually love a good Halloween party – fancy dress, a few spooks and of course a chance to get into character. But this year, Doug the Pug has laid down the gauntlet, and I seriously doubt anyone will be able to compete with his dedication to nailing down the perfect Halloween costume.

My personal favourite? His Kimmy K impression. He’s clearly been working on that selfie pose.

This might even give you some inspiration for your own outfits this weekend.

Cathy’s Choice: Weather Woes

Cathy says: There’s no doubt about it but we LOVE to talk about the weather. Mary’s Choice: How To Annoy An Irish Person

Michelle’s Choice: Flat & Fit

Years after I discarded my teenage belly-tops (we all made mistakes), I’d love to get in better shape ahead of a December holiday I’m really looking forward to. So, I really enjoyed Marie’s piece this week on the seven steps to a flatter tummy. I have six weeks to make it count – wish me luck!

Rebecca’s Choice: Let It Snow, Let It Snow…

Rebecca says: While it’s by no means conclusive, I was so happy to hear that there may be snow on the way this winter. Of course, I hate the idea of people being stranded and everyone needs to be extra cautious when conditions are icy, I love the idea of a white Christmas… and it reminds me that I’m going skiing in February!

Marie’s Choice: So, How’ve You Been?

Marie says: My favourite story this week was this brilliant video, which gives a very funny and very accurate commentary of the thoughts that run through your head when you bump into an ex. Even those of us who are lucky to have had quite amicable break-ups can think of one or two occasions where this would definitely be the case!
