Pichets' Stephen Gibson and his team are seeking to change the traditional concept of fine dining by bringing diners on a culinary adventure.

UpDn really deliver on their promise of a unique dining experience as the venue we ate in felt nothing short of magical and had a buzzy excited atmosphere.

The locations change on a monthly basis but each new space will be dressed with theatrical flair and will offer a bespoke menu for every new event serving high-quality, seasonal fare with a promise to also throw in a few surprises on the night.

But it’s best to go, knowing not much more than where it’s on! Besides that the only other two things you really need to know is that guests are encouraged to dress up so go all out and buy a new dress plus bring a bottle of bubbly so you can kick off your night in style.

We guarantee you’ll enjoy a fun night out with other food fanatics as friendly chitchat with your neighbouring diners is a given and you’ll leave with a full belly and big smile.

These are ideal nights out for celebrating birthdays as it feels like one big dinner party. They’re also catering for Christmas parties but get in quick, as Santa will be here in a matter of weeks.

The next event is on November 25th and will be celebrating all things pig with Homage to the Pig in the Ormonde Wine Bar on Ormonde Quay; there is a six course tasting menu costing €60 per head and it is a BYOB event with two seatings - 12pm and 7pm. For booking enquiries email [email protected].
