For many of us, our day-to-day jobs involve working on a computer.
That’s why, new research put together by Quill.com has made us feel rather ill.
It seems a standard desktop houses more than 3,000 organisms per square inch.
Just to put this into context, as pointed out by our JOE bros, that’s more germs than your toilet seat.
Quill.com made the below infographic which informs us that a study conducted by the Univeristy of Arizona found that the average desktop contains 400 times more bacteria than the average toilet seat.
The good news is the infographic contains a wealth of information on how to ensure you’ve cleaned your computer properly.
There’s four simple steps:
1) cut the power source
2) dust
3) remove dirt & grime
4) disinfect
