Inspired by Swedish light and nature, this carefully curated collection of 47 pieces is designed to easily blend in with what’s already in your home and is made from natural and tactile materials such as rattan, hand-blown glass and ash.
In other words: Swoon.
According to the press release, hand-blown glass is the traditional way of crafting glass in Sweden and the exquisitely designed, carafes, vases and bowls are all hand-made and add that touch of Swedish quality to the collection.
The collection is according to Ikea designed to be enjoyed by the whole family, something the generously sized Stockholm sofa with space and comfort for plenty is a great example of.
Ikea's very first Stockholm collection was launched in 1984, with each new collection inspired differently to the last but a shared theme of Democratic design: Scandinavian modernity of the highest quality in form, function and materials at an affordable price.
