Important: This woman created a sling to carry around her elderly cat who has arthritis
The most precious thing you'll see today, TBH.
We never want to be away from our pets so we love the lengths one cat owner has gone to to ensure her furry pal always gets cuddles.
Ricky the blue point Siamese is 17 and is suffering with arthritis.
Like a lot of patients, he tends to feel a little needy and so his family wanted to make sure they could be with him at all times.
Sharing his story, writer Felicity Morse said that her mum carries Ricky around the house while she's doing jobs .
Our 17 year old cat has arthritis but still wants cuddles and strokes so my mum has made him a sling slash papoose for when she is doing the housework pic.twitter.com/TQfgiCVer5

"He’s in a lot of pain and the only thing that helps is stroking, so he follows my mum around the house miaowing till she strokes him so she thought this would help," she further explained.
Sadly, Ricky is a little under the weather so we've our fingers crossed that he's on the mend and back in his sling very soon.
“He’s currently in hospital on a drip because he’s not very well. But hopefully he’ll be better soon. He’s very laid back and enjoys company so you can carry him around anywhere."
Felicity's story prompted others online to share stories of how they've cared for their elderly pets.
We had a set of wooden stairs - 4 steps (left over from a job) that our elderly and overweight cat used for years to access her favourite spot

When our old Burmese got arthritis, my father made little ramps for the beds and sofas so she could get down without hurting her little catty wrists.

My almost 20 year-old puss, very stiff and wobbly, now has especially purchased stools to get on bed and sofa & to enable her to get in the sun on the window sill, there is a ladder made from a stool, a chair, a low table and craft table with blanket and cushion.

"It’s really nice hearing about how much people love their animals," Felicity responded.
"I think the power of touch and warmth with another living creature moves us all."
