Chinese product designer Qiyun Deng has come up with a lovely idea.
The designer has created a set of tableware called Graft that has been inspired by plants and vegetables.
The tableware is made of bioplastic which is fitting considering what the product aims to represent.
“Texture and form in nature autonomously exist with a function that we can borrow to serve the purpose of artificial objects” writes the designer on his website.
“A celery stem for example, acts as handle for the fork; a petal of artichoke then becomes the bowl of spoon. By waking both visual and haptic sensation it brings along a question: Will you throw they away easily?”
