Insta blogger comes clean about the tricks behind ‘perfect’ bikini shots

We're all guilty of this.

All is not what it seems.

An Instagram star is being praised for her honesty in a series of posts about how she and others pose to change how their bodies look in photos.

Chesssie King, followed by hundreds of thousands for her fitness-centric feed of images, shared a few of her Insta tricks and it was very refreshing.

“You see so many girls on their tiptoes ‘posing’ and I’m guilty of it too,” she wrote here.

“It makes your legs look leaner and longer… but in reality, yes I am nearly 6 foot and I’m lucky to have long legs, but they are still the part of my body I feel conscious of.”

It can seem like the world and its mother have been living in the gym and surviving on kale when you see snaps of people in their bikinis on Instagram over the summer.

That’s why we love was Chessie has done – reminding us that we all pull a few tricks to look and feel our best in pictures.

Simple things like the way you stand or even the bikini you wear can act as an optical illusion, she revealed.

“Find styles that suit you and your body,” she tells followers in another post.

Chessie’s followers have lapped up the honest posts, calling the blogger ‘inspiring’.

“Thanks for always sharing REAL good vibes and not “posed” good vibes.”

“Thank you so much for posting this! You’re ace and posts like this do so much to help people feel more comfortable in their own skin.”

“I wish I had someone to look up to like you when I was younger.”
