Proof that the Christmas spirit is alive and well…
Renting in Dublin doesn’t come cheap and with the monthly figure up 11% nationally in the last year there is no sign of a rental decline anytime soon.
Tenants, not just in the capital, have been feeling the pinch and so when Her.ie reader Lisa Nolan received the following email from her landlady she was pleasantly surprised.
Lisa and her boyfriend were sent a message this morning instructing them to take €150 off her monthly direct as a little Christmas gift from the homeowner.
“Received this e-mail from our landlady earlier today, and what a lady!! Our rent is usually €850 per month... we were speechless!! Chrimbo spirit is alive and well [sic]!"
