This Irish/American couple had a translation guide for their wedding

It aimed to help them get along.

The different suggestions for translation are gas.

When you have a wedding with guests from different countries, there can sometimes be language barriers. Not necessarily in terms of a different language being spoken, but the sayings and accents sometimes lead to conversations getting lost in translation.

So, when an Irish girl was marrying an American guy they decided to try and help their guests out by providing a translation guide.

Included in the list were translations for, ‘Who’s your one? Is she doing a line with your man?’, which they’ve translated into, ‘Who is that hot chick? I wonder if she is dating that dude.’

And, ‘I’m fecking knackered so I am, I could conk out! I am banjaxed’, which translates to, ‘I am freaking exhausted, I might bail, totally wiped out.’

As the bride was from Tipperary, they also included, ‘Up Tipp! G’wan Tipp’, telling the Americans this is similar to their version, ‘Let’s go, Yankees!’See the full list here:
