The Jane Darcy is the brainchild of entrepreneur and mum Gillian Halpin from Dublin.
As a working mum of two young girls Gillian knew the value of taking some time out to light a candle and enjoy a relaxing moment so she decided to create her own brand to encourage others to do the same. The company was named after Gillian’s daughters’ middle names – Jane and Darcy.
The Jane Darcy Intimate Moments collection, scented with White Jasmine & Sandalwood, is a rich fragrance balanced with a light floral feel and underscored with woody notes, making it the ideal scent for your home during the long Summer evenings.
The ‘Intimate Moments’ range was created to encourage people to take some ‘me’ time and to be mindful of the moments that matter the most, which I think we all need from time to time.
Speaking about Jane Darcy’s latest collection, Gillian said;
“There has been so much uncertainty over the last few months due to Covid-19 that our own wellbeing is now more important than ever and we all need to take time out and check in with ourselves from time to time. As a mother of two young girls and running a business from home, I understand how stressful the last few months have been for many people. I created the ‘Intimate Moments’ range to encourage people to take some time out for themselves while also making a perfect gift to simply let someone special know that you’re thinking of them.”
The Jane Darcy range of scented candles is made from 100 per cent natural soy wax and boasts a 10 per cent parfum concentration – notably higher than most luxury candles on the market.
With a burn time of 45 hours, the candles are free from petrochemical paraffin, mineral wax or harsh preservatives and come in a range of beautiful fragrances that will infuse rooms and set a tranquil mood within the home.
As a big fan of scented candles I love candles with a long burn time so I’ll definitely be checking out Jane Darcy’s range.
