Kayla's army.
The fitness guru has a very impressive fan base (almost 6 million on Instagram) and not a day goes by without someone popping up on Instagram sharing their 'before and after' pictures having followed Kayla's advice.
Australian native Kayla is always sharing tips and tricks via her social media accounts and just this week, she chatted to
Byrdie about the ideal all-over body workout, comprising of five main moves.
You can check them out in full
here but another interesting hack gleaned from her was how to look after your body post workout.
If you've ever come home from the gym and ached all over for three solid days (hands up), you'll know how important aftercare is.
Although you probably already know to stretch after exercise, working all muscle groups of course, you may not always remember to practice foam rolling.
Kayla is a devotee of this as it helps to release muscle tightness and tension so it makes sense to try and incorporate this after exercising.
Another piece of advice is to "listen to your body and fuel your body with the food that makes you feel good".
Sometimes your brain tricks you into thinking you're hungrier than you are after exercise but at the same time, it's important to refuel and Kayla recommends a meal/snack including both carbohydrates and protein.
