Keep It Down! Frustrated Man Sends Hilarious Letter to Noisy Neighbours

Living in an apartment is great for the most part, although aside from having to climb the stairs when the lift it out of order, it can be tough dealing with the inevitable noise from your neighbours.

Loud televisions, screaming kids, neighbours who have long (loud) conversations at 4am – it’s all a part of life. And, unfortunately, hearing your neighbours having sex is also a part of life.

Is there anything more uncomfortable than being awake when your neighbours are getting frisky? We think not! But what should you do if you find yourself in such a situation?

Do you ring them?

Do you knock on their door?

Do you scream “SHUT UP YOU DURTY ANIMALS!!!” through the wall?

Well, you could. Or you could just do what a Reddit user did and shame them into having quieter sex.

The Reddit user Phalanxo was so frustrated hearing his neighbours getting down and dirty that he decided to record them and let them hear the racket that keeps him up most nights of the week. Check out the letter he sent them:

Mortifying or what? We’re not sure if the note/CD combo managed to keep the neighbours quiet, but we imagine it did suck all enjoyment out of their sex life (mainly because they’re now aware that someone is listening to them).
