As reported on Her.ie yesterday it was revealed that Kian Egan’s stint on the Xtra Factor wouldn’t come at the expense of his role as judge on The Voice Ireland.
But today the former Westlife singer admitted that if he was offered a place on the ITV show he would find it hard to turn down.
He told the Mirror newspaper, ‘The X Factor is such a huge show that if I was asked to join, it would be something very hard to turn down.’
It’s clear Egan is enjoying his new role alongside Caroline Flack whom he mentioned on Twitter earlier today.

Kian Egan took to Twitter to express how much he was enjoying working on the show.
And by the sound of her response also via her Twitter account Olly Murs, who is currently on tour, might have something to worry about. She said, 'Thanks! Been a lot of fun x.'
