Lana Del Rey will begin to play her own ‘Video Games’ soon enough as the star gets set for the big screen.
The singer has revealed she wants to get into the movies and is writing a screenplay. It seems music just isn’t enough anymore…
The ‘Born To Die’ songstress said working in the film industry would be a “happy place” for her, MTV reported.
She told Vogue Australia; “When I was starting, I had a vision of being a writer for film and that's what I am doing now. I'm so happy.
“Hopefully I will branch into film work and stay there. That will be my happy place. I'd like to stay in one place for a long time.”

Lana wore white and a new dark hair-do at yesterday's GQ Awards.
Lana will join a host of singing artists that have used their singing careers to hit it big-time in Hollywood. Just a few include Justin Timberlake, Mark Wahlberg, Rihanna, Beyonce, Cher… the list goes on. Katy Perry, can we count her? ‘Part Of Me’ anyone?
Lana, 26, also admitted she isn't always that comfortable when she is performing her songs on stage.
The singer-songwriter said: "I love to take care of the songs - that's my natural place - then, when I get on stage that's not my element.
"Sometimes I kneel down because I am trembling or touch the audience because I don't know what else to do. But the nice thing about the kids is that they feel bad for me, and pass me soft toys!"
With that stage fright, is it really a career in film you think you're suited to Lana...?
