Maximum Media are continuing to add to their creative and editorial resource with the arrival of Leslie Ann Horgan as Head Of Content on Her.

Leslie Ann is an editor and writer with 15 years’ experience in national media; most recently, she was editor of the Irish Independent’s Weekend magazine.

She has also worked at Newstalk and helped to establish a features department for the then newly-launched Irish Daily Mail.

“I’m hugely excited to be joining the team at Maximum Media,” Leslie Ann says.

“We are living in a time of great change for women, and now more than ever it’s important to have a space dedicated to the issues that affect us all.”

“I’m looking forward to lending my own voice to the Her and HerFamily community, and helping them continue to blaze a trail as the go-to digital destination for real Irish women.”

Gillian Fitzpatrick, Chief Operating Officer at Maximum Media, adds: “Leslie Ann has an unshakable reputation for overseeing and curating high-quality, female-focused content.”

“She will add real depth and experience to the editorial and production talent we already have in place on Her.”

Gillian continues: “Now seven-years-old, Her is Ireland’s most popular destination for women; Leslie Ann will help us to evolve and grow the brand further and certainly, we have big ambitions for the impact that she will have. We’re very excited!”

Recently, Her changed its logo to one that Gillian explains “better reflects the bustling Her community”. Her also has a series of big-name contributors lined-up to join its ranks over the next few months, as well as two industry-first shows centred around female empowerment.
