A few weeks back a simple little cup sent social media and Beauty and the Beast fans crazy. Our favourite character from the original 1991 movie, Chip, was made available for purchase.
Penneys first got our hopes up when they shared an image of a Chip-inspired purse. But alas, it wasn’t meant to be. They were only on sale in the UK.
Then, we found out about actual Chip cups coming to Penneys. They were due in last week and we’ve yet to get our hands on the porcelain goods.
And just when we were beginning to lose hope, a new type of Chip cup has been spotted.
It’s available in the Disney Store in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre. Sarah Smyth sent a photo our way today.
They’re a slightly creepier version because they’re draw on but it’s the real deal so, naturally, we want one.
The Disney Store on Grafton Street has sold out but they expect to have more coming next week.
They’ve told us that the cups are usually a Disney theme park exclusive but because of all the hype that’s been caused around the cup they decided to make them available in stores.
