Love/Hate fans will no doubt be disappointed to hear that the hit RTÉ drama looks set to end at the end of series five.
Apparently viewers will only be able to watch Nidge and the gang for another two years.

The cast has just finished shooting the fourth series.
According to the Irish Daily Mirror sources revealed the news but said that there are plans to create a spin-off show.
However that will only be after half of the cast is killed off in what would be the last-ever finale.
Apparently half of the cast are going to be killed off but who will it be?
While the television broadcaster has not yet confirmed the reports, it does coincide with what managing director Glen Killane said last month.
He announced that a fifth season had been approved and also spoke of the potential to build on its success with another production.
