As it turns out, apparently Irish people are good at finishing their Christmas shopping early as the majority of us claim to have it all done and dusted by November.
I don't know lads, sounds like people are lying to me.
According to a survey conducted by Christmas FM, a sizeable 72 percent of people say they've had their shopping done since last month.
Which is incredible really. Impressive, but incredible.
18 percent of people said they start picking up gifts throughout the year with only one quarter admitting to finishing their shopping in December.
Well alright then, don't boast about it like.
As well as all of this supposed early-buying, one in 10 Irish people are also spending up to €2,500 on gifts for others every year.
One quarter of people said they spend about €1,000 and one in three said they would drop between €250 and €500.
