This man asked bar staff to spy on his girlfriend… their reply is perfect

If you're going to be a creep, you're going to get called out.

Hen parties are good for lots of things. Getting drunk, falling about on a party bus, having an excuse to drink through penis straws, the list is endless. However, this man decided that he didn't want his girlfriend to have any fun on a hen night after he asked staff at a Newcastle bar to "keep an eye on her and make sure there's no men at their table." The anonymous man also said that he would be willing to pay a member of staff to do this, and that he didn't want the group to know that they were being watched. Staff at the bar, Filthy's, shared the alleged text they received from the man on their Facebook page. They also included a brilliant response to the request. They said:

"For anybody else considering offering us cash to casually stalk their partners.. we are a bar, not private investigators / professional perverts. We can however add some finishing touches to the reserved area such as personalised name cards & bubbly on arrival!"

They also included a smiley face at the end, for good measure. Not only was the man's request strange, it was also downright creepy. Facebook users were quick to point out the boyfriend's controlling behaviour, with many hoping that his girlfriend put the pieces of the anonymous message together and decided to dump him. The man in question does not yet appear to have responded to Filthy's message.
