Man discovers dishwasher hack to end all your large plate problems

Who'd have thought it?

Dishwashers are good for lots of things. Washing dishes... Not having to handwash dishes... The list goes on. One thing that dishwashers tend to not be the best for though is fitting in big plates. How many times have we, collectively, as a nation struggled to load those giant plates in there, accidentally dropped a few in the fight to fit them on the lower track, and just ended up washing them by hand anyway? A lot of times, is the answer. As it turns out though, there is a pretty simple way to fit those big plates in there that we've all (most of us, anyway) been oblivious to for all these years. All you need to do is adjust the height of the upper shelf. Because it actually moves. We know. We were shocked too. The revelation came from Irish Twitter user Mike Mc Loughin, who admitted that for the past 10 years he had been handwashing all of his large dinner plates because they just wouldn't fit in the dishwasher. Then, one day, he realised that the upper shelf of the dishwasher could be moved and his life was changed forever, probably. He took to Twitter to share his discovery. https://twitter.com/zuroph/status/957009331073048577 Ten fucking years, indeed. Mike's revelation wasn't just significant to him either. As it turns out, a whole load of people also hadn't got a clue that this was possible - about 100,000 of them, to be exact.
