Meet Bacon And Eggs… Two Eyeless Kittens Who Just Got Adopted

Reddit user someguyinanambulance has just broken everyone’s hearts on the internet.

This photo of Bacon and Eggs, two kittens who had to have their eyes removed, has been uploaded online with the announcement that they have been adopted.

The kittens were both brought into the animal shelter with infections and a birth defect in their eyes.

To make them more comfortable and to keep things from getting worse, they had their eyes removed,the Reddit user reports.

The kittens were both blind before they had their eyes removed.

“They had their adoption fees paid for by a generous doctor,” the caption reads.

“And then some very awesome person adopted them, unfortunately it wasn’t me! I just hung out with them while they were in the shelter.

“I volunteered there full time when they were in.

“According to their previous foster mum, they loved watching TV, and they played with their animal siblings and were climbing everywhere !

“Once they get their surroundings figured out, they’re unstoppable!”
