Ever had the problem where your friends have told you that you are too predictable? It could actually point to the fact that your life is becoming a little too monotonous and not spontaneous enough. Here are five simple tips to preventing that from happening...
1. Stop repeating common patterns.
If you are used to going to work Monday to Friday, coming home and having dinner every evening and watching all your favourite programmes, you are becoming too set in a pattern and your routine will become stale. Mix things up, go for a drink in the evening, take up a class or a hobby. Not only will you have more energy, but it will make the week slightly more bearable.
2. Get in touch with an old friend.
Yes, we know, you can be in touch with friends all the time on Facebook and Twitter, but we mean really get out and meet those friends and enjoy an event. If it's someone that you are close to, arrange a trip, get on a ferry, get in your car and get away for a weekend spontaneously.

3. Stop making so many plans
If you have an entire week planned out, it just makes it far more difficult to say yes to events spontaneously. This includes your weekend or planning you life around your television set. Forget the plans and just go with the flow, it will make life far more enjoyable.
4. Allow yourself to be distracted.
Sometimes events, places, people will not always present themselves and be in plain sight. Allow yourself to be distracted, you never know what it may lead to.

5. Life doesn't always follow plans.
Don't be so hard on yourself if you're not exactly where you thought you would be at this stage in your career or in your life. Events happen and they can change your life, learn to bend with them. This will change your outlook on many things and help you to be more spontaneous.
