Absolutely freezing.
The cold snap has returned with a vengeance and of course, the heating/hot water bottles/fluffy socks are out in force.
Met Éireann says it will remain cold overnight, with frost and icy patches forming in some parts of the country.
Although it’s not expected to last for long with temperatures rising towards the end of the week, motorists are asked to remain vigilant over the next few days.
For people travelling through Clare, Kildare and Wicklow, AA Roadwatch says extra care is required due to “black ice”.
