Less time and money, but more to do and more bills to pay?
It’s a familiar story and one that many of us are facing every day. If you’re one of those people and you’d like to get 2013 off to a more efficient start, then we just might be able to help.

Group Your To-Do List
Breaking your To-Do list down into a series of simliar tasks will help you to build momentum and boost your produtivity levels as you make your way through your errands.
For example, if you notice that your To-Do list has two similiar tasks such as “Pick up laundry” and “Drop in dress to be cleaned” try to do both tasks at the same time. This means that in one trip, you’ll get the two of them done, rather than dropping in your dress, coming home and realising a day later that you need to collect clothes that you had already left in a week ago.
Grouping tasks means that you’ll spend less time and energy trying to cross items off your To-Do list and, chances are, you’ll end up completing that list way faster than you would if you tackled different issues without any sense of real structure.

Keep Your To-Do Lists In One Place Only
Are you a serial list maker? Do you find To-Do lists all over your house and/or your office? If this is starting to ring a bell then maybe it’s time you organised your lists.
Scattering your tasks and reminders around the place does nothing except increase your chances of forgetting something and confusing yourself. You could waste hours of your life searching for one list that you need to tick off.
Why not organise your notes by keeping them in one place only? When you get used to writing every down in one place, you’ll stop worrying that you’re forgetting something and you’ll get things done much faster.

Automate Your Bill-Paying
No one likes paying bills, but rather than wasting time traipsing to the bank or the post office to pay what you owe every month, why not take advanatge of the direct debit function on your bank account?
By using direct debit you can schedule your bills to be automatically paid out of your current account every month. This means that you don’t have to worry about paying your bills on time, although we do recommend checking your account every month to make sure that the money has gone out of your account and been given to the right person!
