Nearly half of men have asked their partner to change this about themselves

A recent survey by Cosmo has shed some light on the grooming habits of both sexes, when it comes to pubic hair. The most alarming result was that 40% of men have admitted to asking their romantic partner to change their pubic hair.

Meanwhile, only 23% of women have asked their partners to do the same.

One person surveyed said:

“You can have that conversation with someone you’ve been dating for a while, but it’s unacceptable to ask someone you’re hooking up with to change their style.

And even if you know someone pretty well, you should make it clear that they can say no. I don’t know if men understand that it can be hard for women to do that.”

When it comes to preference for partners pubic hair, the most common choice for men was the bare look, while women prefer men’s pubic hair to be trimmed.

30% of men and 19% of women said that they would reconsider dating someone because of their pubic hair.

The most common reason for grooming was down to feeling more attractive, with hygiene noted next on the list of reasons.
