It’s a lot.
If you’re like me, then you will fit just about anything into your handbag. All the essential items that I might need during the day are in there and even things that I might not need but-just-in-case are in there too.
Which, of course, means it’s heavy.
You don’t really notice it because you’re so used to it, but does your shoulder ever get sore and achy at the end of the day? Yeah, same.
We’re not going to pop our handbags on a weighing scale because that’s just super weird, but now there’s a new calculator that will add up all the items you have in your bag and give you the estimated weight of it.
I was actually quite surprised by how much mine actually weighs (4.5kg) and I’m starting to think I should really do a big clear out soon (or maybe just bring less items to work with me everyday).
The calculator was created by luxury handbag brand Aspinal of London and it basically lets you select all the items you carry in your bag day in day out.
