Newsflash: We Have Been Approaching Our Toblerones All Wrong

Our love of Toblerone’s thus far has been somewhat bittersweet.

We love the taste, we love the texture and we love the fact that it’s the ULTIMATE last-minute lazy holiday present at the airport.

But the actual act of breaking a piece off has been a silent struggle, and we always end up with sore, sticky fingers and making an unattractive grunting noise, ESPECIALLY if it’s cold from the fridge.

Well, as it turns out, we’ve been completely failing with our approach to the chocolatey treat.

Spotted on the Irish Mirror, if you simply break it in the opposite direction, it snaps as easily as a KitKat.

They tried to tell us in the ad, but we just wouldn’t listen.
