Yikes!
Nick Grimshaw had a close call the other day after being involved in a car accident. He was driving through Stoke Newington, in London, when he swerved his car to avoid a cat. He ended up toppling the car.
Luckily though Nick was able to walk away from the accident relatively unharmed.
A police officer, Jimmy Higgs, tweeted some photos of the accident saying, “@DannyRiggsy working along side @lfbhackney once again. Driver swerved to avoid a cat… Everyone safe and well.”

A witness told Metro, “He was fine and the cat was fine, he was a lovely man, he said he would felt terrible if the cat had been hurt. Both airbags had gone off so that’s why he wasn’t hurt, and he was still there an hour later.”
He missed his Radio 1 show as a result of the accident and left Annie Mac to explain to the listeners saying, “Nick unfortunately had a bit of an accident with his car. He is fine, there is absolutely nothing to worry about but he can’t make it into the studio this evening.”
Nick reportedly bought his car in September 2015 for £80,000.
