It is completely normal to talk to yourself, don't let anyone tell you that it is not. However, there are certain phrases that we all use on a daily basis when we our having some chats with ourselves. Here are nine of them.
1. "Did I turn that off?"
This can apply to any number of household appliances that you may have turned on during the day but usually the panic occurs around the cooker and your hair straightener.
2. "What was I doing?"
We've all been there, standing in the middle of the kitchen with a very blank look on your face. What were you doing? You will have to go half way back up the street to figure that one out.

3. "I'm so tired."
Said in a whisper in the hopes that somebody may hear you and ask you why you are so tired.
4. "I'm so bloody cold."
Why do we feel the need to reconfirm this to ourselves?
5. "What will I wear?"
This usually happens when you are standing in front of your wardrobe at about 8.30am and you know you own about 60 dresses, but really, you have nothing to wear.
6. "Where did I put that?"
This can even be used in the office envoirnment. Honestly, you had that scissors in your hand two seconds ago.
7. "I've forgotten to do something."
Ever get that complete sense of fear when you cannot remember what it is you really had to do but you have forgotten? Forget it, you won't remember it until 3am at least.

8. "Give me a break."
Just walked outside your front door and it's raining? It was sunny only five minutes ago. We all deserve a break.
9. "Ah, f**k it."
The all-encompassing phrase for just about everything during the day. Count how many times you say it on a daily basis to yourself. We bet it's at least ten times.
