We’ve long suspected that she’d be no craic anyway, but Lily Allen has confirmed our suspicions with her latest tweet.
The singer, who married Sam Cooper in June of last year, tweets under the name @lilyrosecooper, and she has just had a pop at something Irish people hold very dear…. Banter.
Lily, (whose father let slip this week that she is pregnant with her second child), might just be in a bad mood, but this morning she told over 3.5 million followers on Twitter of her hatred for the word ‘banter’.
As huge fans of banter, we’re very disappointed in Lily, and we suggest that the ‘Smile’ singer take some of her own advice. Especially as she’s soon set to pair up with one of our favourite singers P!nk, and there’s no way P!nk is not a fan of banter…
