Never let it be said that GAA and style don’t mix.

If all the family photo albums at home are chock full of snaps and your siblings proudly decked out in your county colours throughout your childhood, you’ll be aware that a GAA jersey is always something of a #look.

Now the bigwigs in the world of high-end fashion are finally copping on to the style potential of the humble jersey.

If you haven’t yet picked up your copy of the latest Vogue Paris, you might not be aware that it features a lad togged out in an O’Neills club kit.

Model Oisin Murphy is pictured in the pages of the French style bible wearing a Cushendall strip and carrying a helmet and hurley.

The 19-year-old isn’t just talking the talk either – he hurls with his club at home in Birr, Co Offaly.

The image is from an editorial spread shot in the “dark hedges of Antrim” for Vogue Paris’ August edition.

“Escape to the sumptuous surroundings of the Irish countryside, for a 90s-tinged tale of romance,” reads the magazine’s blurb.

The shoot also features British model Adwoa Aboah looking like the most glam jersey puller we’ve ever seen.

It all feels little bit Zoolander but regardless, it’s great to see a young Irish guy grace the pages of such a high profile magazine so fair play to Oisin.
